Lense; Black Magic Circle
This series is available in plano only
Shelf life is 3 years with a usage length of up to 1 year
They are 14mm diameter

My package and another foot print case, I wonder is this is a new style?
I also received a cute leopard gift bag as well as care cards

On first glance I was confused and dissappointed
I thought the lenses were to be black but they looked grey
Thankfully when worn this is not the case and they are black!

You can see they offer a black outer ring
With no colouring and just black these lenses are suitable for all eye colours!

One in and one out, you can see the effect they offer
as well as how that helps the enlargement of the lense

I can't really offer an explanation for this, I just like my mouse ears haha

Great lenses for when you aren't looking to change colour
The black isn't so big to over come your natural eye

Comfort; ★★★★★
These lenses were perfectly comfortable

Great englargement
The bold black outer ring provides an illusions of size

Rule Breaking; Egg

It's Rule Breaking time again as I begin playing catch up
These were all found in Egg October 2011 and the scans are from Laurita ♥
I'm sure I will be catching up for a while but I hope to revive this blog series!

Some clear Shibuhara stylings here

The hoody, though a staple piece in JSG (we all know their cat ear tops!)
This is a newer style, a more... demonic style of ear reminding me of Warumono!
They layered polka dot skirts are too reminiscent of a more Harajuku influence
Yet these don't look too out of place for a JSG collection at all!

In terms of hair this model was featured a lot in the issue

and I am quite in love with her use of red and blue, it's almost flag like in theme!
I have spoken about hair a lot in this Rule Breaking series and it still seems to be an issue
But believe me, I have seen more than enough proof that gyaru hair can be whatever you want

As forever shown by this awesome girl...

SHES BACK!

Love her, hate her... She is the almighty queen of gyaru rule breaking
and Egg obviously see and love this in her too!
I am quite in love with her hehe, it must be mighty easy to switch wigs too!

Manba was also featured!

Many, perhaps all, gyaru these days will protest this style is dead
and whilst it may not be in boom anymore it's never fair to dismiss it completely
Punk boomed in the 70's and would you say there are no Punks left today?

She just oozes manba to the core

It was awesome to see her and her style featured in a magazine

Especially in length, which as a short girl can be an issue when it comes to pants etc

and thats my rather varied gets!
All caught up with now, I know there will have been other stuff I forgot to photograph
But I can't remember what they could be, especially since Xmas has been now
Too many new pretty things in my life hehe

Circle Lense Tips ♪

As you may know, lenses don't keep forever
But as long as you take care of them, they should last for a year
(Some models on last months or even days, be sure to check this out on the item page when you buy!)

It can be hard to keep track of when they will expire, especially if you have many pairs
Some stores send you little cards to write the model and the expire date on to keep track
But I have recently found it to be a lot more useful to do this...

Simply write the date you opened the lenses on the bottom of your case (or on the lid)
This way you can check the specific lense details super quickly!
You don't have to retrace blog entries for when you reviewed them or look for cards/notes
It's just there instantly for you to check ♪

"But then I can't re use the case!"
Honestly, you shouldnt be re using cases, especially if they have contained an expired lense
Ideally you should replace your cases every few months
But at the very least just stick with one case for one set and throw it when you throw the lenses!

This series is available in prescription 0.00 to -8.00
Shelf life is 3 years with a usage length of up to 1 year
They are 15mm diameter

Cute packaging and feet print case
It's always comforting to see your lenses inside a holder
You know they have been really well protected during their shipment

The lense itself seem really understated
and it is the least extravagant of the Mimi Princess series

You can see the haze it has around my natural colour
and how prominant the black outer ring is to the lense

One in, one out
The englargement is surprising from such a "plain" style of lense
But it is certainly noticeable!

Really understated, I can see why people may over look these in the series
Seem like they would be mostly suited to people with a natural dark eye

Comfort; ★★★★☆
Has a little discomfort when first applying
They had been soaked in clean solution for a few days prior
I washed them and re inserted, the discomfort had reduced

Great englargement

Have I told you how much I love Lucky Cupcake? Yes? Good!
Because it is A LOT! I am a hair bow addict now thanks to this lady ♥

Natalie of Bake and Destroy is the bad ass tattooed girl
I'm sure everyone presumed I'd turn out to be yet wimped out on becoming
Between her tweets of cakes and classic wrestling I've grown super fond of the woman
And maybe some day I'll achieve some skill of baking
and stop pussyig out on tattoos and finally be as cool as her

The second bow is the Chicago bow!
Which is also where natalie is from and It wasn't until a few minutes after ordering
my brain sort of went "oh I see what I did there" when it came to their connection haha
Chicago is also home to some pretty awesome looking hot dogs as well as Ian's pizza.
It's not often I'm driven to a place by food alone but Chicago is an exception

I also got a little DIY... which is odd for me
I have a creative mind, but no creative talent. At all. Haha
Though this was simple!

I tied myself a large bow and attached a safety pin to the back like so...

and now, I have a long bow to store all my little bows on to!

I'm looking for a better place to hang it, but I love displaying them this way
It also helps to stop losing them too, I was finding them all over the house haha

Circle lense review ★

Though required to review for their website all opinions stated are my own

Lense; Lotus Flower in Violet
This series is available in plano only
Shelf life is 3 years with a usage length of up to 1 year
They are 15mm diameter

With such a pale, almost lilac purple and a light pattern

at first glance I wasn't sure what to expect from these leneses at all

You can see the pattern to these lenses is rather interesting

It isn't a full block of colour and have clear parts allowing your natural colour to blend

These lenses will look different on all eyes as they don't fully change the colour

They blend within it and offer a highlight instead, but are still strong enough to show a difference

Having a clear area in the lense you can see it shows the white of your eyes

Still the black outer ring helps with the enlargement of these 15mm lenses

Style; ★★★☆☆
The lenses are pretty and interesting but I think there are too many clear zones
I wasn't keen on how they showed the whites of my eyes through these areas

Comfort; ★★★★★
They were perfectly comfortable!

Enlarging effect; ★★★★☆
Slightly hindered by the clear areas but still have a larger appearance

Tardy for the party; A shoe collection

So for Christmas I received my first pair of Jeffrey Campbell shoes!

They look a bit odd with their laces tucked in like this lol

They are the Tardy in white leather and I got them in the Cyber Monday sale
on Sole Struck for 70% off! Great deal huh?
Though they were actually purchased by my parents for Xmas of course
So happy to finally have some as beyond Litas these are my favourite JC shoes
I've yet to give them a full road test as I'm having issues with my self image right now
But I won't lie and I totally keep just putting them on... lame hahaha

I felt inspired to take pictures of all my shoes
It's in no way a great collection, and in to way as cool as Asami's ♥
But I hope you don't mind the spam and enjoy!

But the "fur" inside on the heel is eroding away now lol

Not as comfy as you'd expect because they have a wedge sole hidden inside
I would like to take it out really but I'm worried I might not get it back in properly
or that the bottom of the shoe won't be lined for wear without the sole lol

as the other ripped off when I tried to use it
So I'm still a bit cynical when it comes to vintage items lol

They still have tissue bits stuck in them from when I went to Japan

Rubber flats with a seal on the front
They also have a tiny peep toe, which makes a little breeze in your shoe during wind lol
Melissa shoes also smell like bubble gum, these still have their scent well!

Leopard Moccasins
Cheap from Primark!

White rubber flats
These are so comfy! The only trouble is that they are plastic
So if its too hot they can get effected

Same as above but in black
and weird, these are no way as comfy!
I dont understand how its possible since they are the same shoe haha

Hobbit boot by Blowfish
I haven't worn these for YEARS
They have had so many repairs made to them too poor things
Think these need to be re-introduced into wear!

I'm having trouble at the moment with some lost shoes!
I have a pair of studded Underground England Creepers
and a pair of leopard Buffalo platform shoes that have vanished!
If I wasn't so scared of the storage space I would look in the attic for them lol

When you buy from Sole Struk they send you these cute plasters too...

But let's face it, the place Shoe Addiction hurts the most is not our feet....

Hurray, the Postman brought me goodies from Lazy Oaf!
I took advantage of their sale buying a T-shirt and a necklace
it was super hard to choose as I had a £30 budget
My cart contents changed numerous times before settling haha
Here are my goods!

Yes way/No way T-shirt
I settled on this deciding, it was like having 2 tops in one (derp)
The top is now officially sold out too! Good thing I snagged one

I need to make some gif whilst wearing this, I can feel it! Haha

Skull and cross necklace
This really reflects on my current taste in jewelry
It was something I'd had my eye on for a little while
and since it was on sale I thought "Why not?"

Lazy Oaf are such a cool brand, I've loved them for a long time
and I can't believe they are 10 years old! Time flies for sure
I feel rather guilty though as they are a brand I have liked for so long
yet I haven't invested in them much and it's not only stupid but a darn shame!
Especially since many of their items/designs are limited
If you don't buy things you like asap chances are they could be gone forever
I have 2 examples of this from experience; I love Money T-shirt and Creepers

I remember the T-shirt well, it was around during my time at Uni
I had... or even have, a reputation of being a materialistic shopaholic
and I always wanted it as a pun but ironically I was too poor at the time rofl

As for the creepers, it will be a miracle if I find any as they were limited
But Lazy Oaf told me they had some awesome shoes news in the future
I couldn't even imagine what that could have meant until I spotted these...

Can someone say Litas?!
Are these a Lazy Oaf exclusive or do they already exsist?

Hello 2012

Being ill lately it was hard for me to look back on the year
All I kept remembering was all the crap thats happened, the weight I've gained
So my mind was heavily shrouded in negativity, though thats common anyway

But regardless, 2011 was a good year with it's highlights!

I went to London to visit my friend Rhi, who I miss so much and love forever
I found the amazing world of bath salts, bath bombs and Lush products
I went to see WWE in Newcastle for Edge's fairwell retirement tour
In Newcastle I saw my hero Beth Phoenix wrestle
My boyfriend bought his pet Degus aka/ The Boys!
I spent a holiday in Blackpool with my boyfriend and had great fun
We reached our 2 year anniversary!
I returned to Preston without having a melt down about my past there

In Preston I met Indie Wrestling LEGEND Colt Cabana
Wrestler Greg Burridge sat on my knee during a dance off
I finally got the elusive Maneki Neko charm for my Vivienne Westwood bracelet
I met up with Bloomzy and had a fab day with her!
I met up with Tori my best friend through school
I saw A Day to Remember live for the first time
I got my first pair of Jeffrey Campbell shoes!

and even with these selected highlights, there was plenty more inbetween

I also discovered some amazing people, blogs and talents this year
Special shout outs and thank yous to the following...
Bake and Destroy, Di Depux, Lucky Cupcake, luxy♥loli, Oborocharms and Sassy n Punk
You all opened my eyes to supporting the little guys ♥

I'm going into 2012 beaten, but I hope to come out of it fighting
That idea is my resolution, I just want to better myself

★ Christmas post ★

It seems everyon had a great Christmas, so now it's my turn to share hah

When it actually came to the day I guess I felt a little subdued, though I haven't been very well
I think I felt most with the Christmas spirit during my few visits to the
Christkindelmarkt (German Christmas Market) that was held in Leeds

The best sausage cooking machine to ever exist!
With hilariously scary German men too, "YOU MUST TAKE!"

The food stalls there were amazing, so many interesting things
Honey Mead, giant marshmallow sweets, hazlenut coffee, after eight flavour dohnuts
and also large soft pretzels used as a sandwhich bread. I was quite amazed by that!

"Meery Christmas" from the Burger Shack!

My eating wasn't limited to German markets (unfortunatly lol)
and I had a few too many festive treats including,

Snowman rice treat
It was so hard to eat but the creativity is awesome! I loved it so much!

and since there is a Krispie Kreme in our region now, there have been a few...

The Christmas edition Red Berry style is glittery!
So awesome, but I will miss the Tree shaped ones as they were the best ♥

So, onto the day itself!
I spent morning opening presents with my family
and in the afternoon they went to a family friends house so I visited my boyfriend

One of his kittens tried to join us for dinner!
She was sat properly for a while but them moved as soon as we tried to photograph her
Typical pets! lol

I'm super peeved at myself for feeling so rubbish and ill over the holidays
I totally wish it just could have been next month haha
But I still had a nice time and the Christmas dinner was so YUM ♥

On to the presents!!
I could not be bothered to take individual images so you will have bundles haha

So much Lush, plenty of perfume and my first pair of Jeffrey Campbell shoes!
Santa was so very kind to me this year ♥

Whilst typing this I was making so many mistakes

Lime Crime Carousel Gloss ★

Well, it's a heavy post over all so I apologise in advance for any mistakes made!

Not too long ago I received my Lime Crime order placed on Cyber Monday
Despite "shipping problems" I found that it wasn't too long or bad to wait
I totally understand how busy any shops become with sales and my SoleStruck order took a little longer
Despite being shipped out before, but that's beside the point here hah

I also received it in the Unicorn shipper!

For some time International orders weren't available to be shipped
in these boxes (something to do with shipping label size?)
But now they can, hurray! A cute box you can easily reuse ♥

As you can see gloss isn't the only thing I bought, more on those later
The postcard and glitter sticker were free to all who ordered in the sale

First I'll mention the outer packaging of the glosses

They're really pretty and match their name sake of Carousel
I tried to show each side of the box here lol

The end of the boxes are labelled per colour
So if you wanted to keep your gloss boxed you can easily see which is which

Inside the packaging
You can see the box itself is rather chunkier than the gloss tube
It's held safely in place with a little bit of card inside
and on top the lid of the glosses is an embossed Unicorn logo, sweet touch!

On to the gloss packaging itself!
It really is a treat to the eyes, unique and just darn cute

The lids are made of metal with a frosted purple colouring

The tubes themselves are made of plastic
I love the twisted appearance so much, it's really pretty
The tubes are also really good at keeping excess gloss at bay
The stick inside never comes out soaked in wastes gloss, which is really useful

The ends of the tubes also state the colour name
Many people may say the twisted deisgn can cause an illusion of how much
product is actually inside the tubes, but they are pretty thick
and to set wondering aside each tube has 3.5 g / 0.12 oz of product ♪

Now onto the swatches, finally hehe

Candy Apple - $17.00
"Deep ruby-red with crimson glitter"
I think of all the glosses in the collection this is the more focussed one
and I am instantly reminded of my love for Hedwig and the Angry inch
It took a little getting used to in application, and you can see I made a mistake
It's a little hard to correct mistakes with the gloss so take your time and be careful
Score; ★★★☆☆
Wasn't as impressed as I hoped to be, but still nice!

Golden Ticket - $17.00
"Can you believe your luck? This Golden Ticket is all yours!
Bronzed metallic gold, especially stunning on darker complexions"
It looks to have been produced a little different, I'd say the other glosses
are colours with glitter as well but I think Golden Ticket is more lamé
I wasn't expecting this to be a favourite but it was the easiest to apply
and even though photographs show it to look patchy it looked a lot smoother irl
Score; ★★★★☆
Will be hard to co-ordinate but still lovely

Loop-de-loop - $17.00
"Midnight blue with iridescent sparkle"
Blue is one of those lip colours thats a little more 'out there'
When I saw the full collection for the first time I was really excited by this shade
However this has ended up bottom for me, it was a pain to apply
It came out thinner than others and was very streaky
When applying it felt like I was moving it around too much and eventually gave up
You can see from the swatch it's not the best, maybe with a little practise
But for now I am a little saddened as I had high hopes for this shade
Score; ★☆☆☆☆
Gave it 1 as it could look good over Styletto

Kaleidoscope - $17.00
"Plum-purple with turquoise sparkle"
Much like Loop-de-loop, I was much excited by this shade
I can easily see this one being my favourite of them all ♥
Was one of the best to apply, easy to get it to look deep and opaque
Score; ★★★★★
Ticked all the boxes for me!

Cherry On Top - $17.00
"This pink-red jelly gloss is packed with rainbow sparkle. Pretty please, with cherry on top?"
I think of all the glosses I was least excited about this one
But I felt weird buying them all apart from this, weird OCD feelings haha
It offers a red less deep than the Candy Apple with a pinkness to it
Since the others are rather dark and bold I think this is one that can transfer easier
into lighter seasons such as Spring and Summer, it doesn't feel as confined to gloomy weather hehe
A surprise favourite too, it looks rather yummy and pretty
Score; ★★★★☆
More a 4.5 but I can't half the stars hehe

Over all gloss notes;
One coat will easily cover one lip, more coats needed for a fully opaque finish
To get a fuller coat I 'dipped' in the tube between 4 ~ 6 times depending on the colour/application
Not overly sticky, just average for any gloss. Less sticky than Candy Doll which I previously used
The glitter is fine and you don't feel any "grit" from it whilst wearing
Beautiful yummy scent, I think it's Vanilla? I want to eat it

Will I buy these again?
I'm not a frequent wearer of gloss and so I find myself thinking "probably not"
Unless I somehow ended up addicted to a particular colour and wore it to death
I do like them, don't get me wrong, but I will be sticking with the lipsticks ♥
and I will probably wear them over a base in order to reduce the need to apply a lot
also as a way to get a fuller colour without risking streaks in my application as I suck haha
If Lime Crime made a lipstick to match each shade as a base, that would be perfect!

Tis the season...

The picture of my poodle is so old haha
It's the only Christmas picture I had to hand though so it will do

I suppose this is a return? After a month of Hiatus, did you miss me?
I was sort of aiming to be back in the New Year, but I guess I got bored hah
The reasons why I stopped haven't gone but I am more on my way to resolving them
I will probably seem a little on semi-hiatus as gaps between posts will be longer
But I'm sure you don't mind waiting... or at least I hope so! ♥

You may notice the banner here has changed a little
My blog will now simply be known at Sami Spoon, much easier than a half Japanese title!
Posting may be different too, I'm still figuring out directions for this blog etc
Do I want it personal, reviews, a mix? I don't know
I suppose the scramble of it is a reflection on myself lol I am all over the place
I have such varying interests etc, it's only natural my blog show all of these

As for Chritsmas, I hope you all have a fab day and don't drink too much mulled wine
I'm spending the morning with my family then a few days with my boyfriend

Yes it's time for a blog hiatus unfortunately

I tend not to post too much personal stuff on here, but I'm just in a little bit of a pit lately
The thought of needing to upkeep a blog is just becoming an un necessary pressure
I don't want to go into it too much and sound all "woe with me" lol
but right now it's the best move

I know for sure I'm going to be away for the rest of November and I suspect
December too but I can't be sure of an exact date just yet

I'm sure I will sadly lose followers during my time away but to those who want
to stick by me keep your eyes peeled as I will be back with a vengeance,
and most likely a ton of gets... though I need to cap that, spending is an easy and evil hobby
I'd like to come back with fresh eyes and new perspective to my blog, my style

From the opening of the new Shibuya store!
I love the funny google eyes, though they rattle when I use my phone
and I keep forgetting whats causing the sound lol it can be worrying!

I had a purpose for this in mind when I bought it but then... forgot
Maybe one day I will remember what I wanted to keep in here haha

This one is a little smaller than the Kumatan one
and it's the perfect size for keeping my Polaroid camera in! Hurray!

This series is available in plano only

Pretty packaging

Close up of the lense you can see there is a lovely pattern to the lense
I persume the lenses in this series are based off the shapes and petals of their flowers

In the case I thought these lenses would be kind of "sheer"
But I was pleastently surprised to see just how vivid the colouring actually is!

One in and one out
The coloured area of the lense is very large with a black ring

Lime Crime Lip Noir

Recently I purchased the Lip Noir collection from Lime Crime! ♥
The collection is limited edition, so if you like what you see here
(though I don't think my review was that great haha)
Then make sure to pick it up asap! As of writing this Chinchilla is sold out
But they are looking to re-stock it soon, after that it may be discontinued

Lime Crime are known for their pretty packaging
There is a weird sense of fun from matching up boxes to create a full unicorn haha
I am always reminded of the brand Heatherette when I see it too ♥

The lipsticks themselves continue the theme with a disco pattern unicorn
I've seen many reviews noting that the unicorn pattern doesn't match up
But it is because of difficulties in printing and the creator Doe mentioned that here ♪

All 3 shades from the collection
How very... noir! Hah, they do have a very retro and gothic vibe to them for sure
The colours are Styletto, Glamour 101 and Chinchilla

Up close, I had used Styletto and Glamour 101 prior to this photo being taken
Chinchilla is totally fresh and new from the packaging
You can see some "spots" on the Glamour 101 and Chinchilla
At first I didn't know what these were so I e-mailed Lime Crim
and this is sweating from the wax, they were readily happy to replace the lipstick
If I was not satisfied with how they looked because of this (and repay my shipping costs too)

Swatches; Chincilla, Glamour 101 and Styletto
All with just 2 coats, it is very opaque and strong!

But skin swatches can't cut it for the full effect you have to see it on lips
I have to say, I really hated to take such pictures of my lips
I don't often wear lipstick so I'm sure it's applied ridiculously messy haha
But I still hope that maybe they can help you lol, just ignore my derp!

Chinchilla
A pale lilac grey! It's an interesting shade of lipstick for sure
I wasn't sure what to make of it at first but with the right clothing it will work wonders

Glamour 101
I had heard mixed reviews about this, but I wanted a non "post box" red lipstick
that was still bright, just not too garish and I believe I found it!

Styletto
One for the brave as black can carry a heavy gothic image!
I used to wear black lipstick back in my teens hehe I do admit I love it
I was actually inspired by Vod from the UK series Fresh Meat to dare try it again

Over all, all the lipsticks were great! ♥
They applied well, very opaque too so you don't need to apply it many times
They don't wipe off easily, I needed to use a cotton pad with make up remover
which made my lips tingle a little lol

I do find them a little drying but this could be totally personal
I am a bit of an addict to lip balm and I apply it all day everyday
So wearing lipstick is always a challenge for me as I can't use lipbalm haha

Adventures in Leeds

Last Friday I went for a venture into Leeds with long lost friend Tori!
My best friend from high school who had to move down south a few years ago
She came back up to visit people so decided we would go shopping like old times hehe

I actually have no gets to post!
Not because I didn't buy anything, but because they were presents so I can't show them
I took the chance to buy my boyfriends whilst I could as I mostly hang out with him lol

The Victoria Quarter have their Christma Tree up already
This year it's made of giant disco balls! ♥ It's always awesome and bling
and really tall too, I was leaning back over a fountain to take this haha

Hanging like old times also meant a visit to Yo Sushi!

The menu had a Hime Gyaru and several VK band cosplays in the back of it hah
It was weird seeing people dressed as Naitomea in a menu

My tofu katsu kare!
There was a bit too much vinegar on the rice though, was weirdly tangy!

Looking back, I should have made a Dorayaki Centipiede...

Yo Sushi now have green tea ice cream!
It's so rich though, you could probably share it even though the tub is small

Here is my sushi after math...
I had a little Sushi Food Baby afterwards haha

When home Tori came to see my family for a little while
We took a few polaroids for my album but I hate how I look in them so I won't post lol
I took one of Tori and Tobi together and he did a wee on her!! AGH bad Tobi!
I hope it came out of her new coat ok, I felt so bad!

It's always nice to see her, we have grown up and grown apart over the years
But no one can take away what we have shared ♥

Then, on Monday I was back in Leeds again!
I met my boyfriend in the station and we headed for some noodles at WokOn
Before meeting friends in the German Market (I have to go back with my camera!!)

From there it was on to the O2 Academy for the Eastpak Antidote tour!
We had tickets for this tour since August haha ♥
We all went just to see the band A Day to Remember
I didn't know the other bands, though August Burns Red had a great atmosphere!

This is literally the only picture I took haha
When I was lurking around the back near the sound equipment
I went into the crowd for ADTR and gosh, my legs are still aching haha
But it was a great concert, I really love the band
When I listen to them I never skip a song, so I was in the crowd hot and thirsty
Thinking "I will see what they play next and if I don't like it I will go get a drink"
But, I just loved every song, so I never left haha

I found the offical photographers Flickr from the night
and thankfully no crowd shots or I'm sure my derpy/singing face would be on them lol

and that's my recent adventures in Leeds! Hurray!

Picture heavy, but worth it!

Ohhh luxy♥loli, you have totally stolen my deco heart!
When I was able to have a sponsorship opportunity with them I was simply over the moon
If you are a member of my デコ電★Deco Den page on Facebook, you may have seen this already
and if you haven't... well here it is! (and go like the page too hehe)

luxy♥loli was simpley a pleasure to work with
It was really easy to bounce ideas off with her and she was very visual
Sending pictures like above of inspirational pieces
I would have never put pink, purple and yellow together in a deco piece
But it all works wother so very well!!

She completed the work so crazily fast, I'm talking like a day or two
Super speedy, she sent me a picture of the complete design and I was so excited!
A week later it was finally in my possesion...

There are other goodies too hehe, I love the tissue paper over the bubble wrapping ♥
I totally kept it all hehe

She sent some extra deco pieces which is very lovely and useful!
Of course the rhinestones are glued on to the goods very well
But accidents do happen and having spares of the same rhinestones is a life saver!

I also love the skull tape used, so cute!

Isn't it so glorious?!

I love the pattern for the front, the colours are very Cheshire Cat!
All the rhinestones lined up perfectly, I get so OCD about these things hehe
It's really lovely to see how well it came out

So many charms affixed to the back it's easy to notice new things everytime
All very well placed, I honestly can't see a single gap
Camera is also not blocked in anyway, it has not effected photography

Here is a close up of the bottom deco (I lost the picture of the top half somehow lol)
Everything is so packed well, the only charm that pokes off much is the yellow bow
Which is on the top of the case, other than that they all fit in very well

More zooming! My camera sort of sucks lol
The Mickey Mouse head looks like it was made for this theme!
So perfect ♥

Peek of how it looks with just the front plate on
The sides are also covered in rhinestones, the cases doesn't block any buttons
It also doesn't affect plugging in your charger, I even used my old school iPod Mini cable fine!

Naturally the phone will become thicker and heavier
but the attention it brings is worth it ♥

You can see the side rhinestones alternate too, a really nice touch
luxy♥loli really has a keen and perfectionist eye for her works and it shows
in all these little amazing details of her work!

Depending on the height of the charms with are on the back your phone
may rise up a little when placed down
To keep the back of your phone looking it's best always place your phone screen down
The Rhinestones on the front are easier to replace if damaged than the designed back case!

Hello there!
A break from my usual blog topics to bring you some pets

This weekend we got a new pet tortoise ♥
We have called him Toby, so you might see me tweeting about him at the moment
He's a bit of a character and certainly not slow in the slightest!

I'm not a fan of him having wood chippings I have to say
Hopefully we can get him some lovely soils and sands to dig around in asap

He's shy lol

and well, I felt bad posting just about Toby so you may as well meet my other pets!

Chanel the rabbit
We thought she would be tiny but one day she decided to grow massive!
She's really mean and likes to try attack you but I still love her lol
When I lived in Preston for Uni, she was in my flat with me hehe
I can't remember if she nibbled on Bloomzy's feet one time...

Jennyanydots, our last kitty!
Over the years we have had many cats but through age and cancers
We have just Jenny/Jen Jen remaining now
She is so photogenic, I tend to post her a bit on my Instagram hehe
But she gets knots in her fur so easily, she is sporting a rather large bald spot at the moment!
Her markins are all stripey in gingers and greys, really pretty ♥

Dee Dee the poodle! ♥♥♥
She is almost inbetween Toy and Miniature I would say
7 years old and now fully blind due to detatched retena the poor girl
But she gets along with her life just fine and can still navigate the house well
She's practically my baby lol, couldn't live without her! ♥

Scrappy Doo, the old Jack Russel!
Ohhh so old Doods! She's 17... 19... I can't remember not having her in my life!
All grey in her once brown face bless her
When she licks your face it's like getting a sloppy grandma kiss

and finally...
Lulu the Bichon Frise
Big fatty bum Lulu is my mums dog
She has the most unique personality I have ever seen in a dog
She is smart but in really weird and stupid ways, like knowing the microwave ping = food
Also scared of bubble wrap and tweeting noises for some unknown reasons lol
A total character, I tease her alot but she's my little bear!

Close up of the lense you can see how varied the pattern is
It's not just a solid brown, there are many different shades speckled in there

There is a lighter inner ring to these lenses for more depth
Oddly I saw a golden retreiver recently with eyes similar to these lenses!
I'm not sure if thats a good selling point exactly but it was interesting to see hah

Even though my natural eyes are brown these still pop and make a difference!

I do feel my inner goth is being unleashed more lately and I'm not sure if that's a good thing

Halloween-less weekend!

Happy Halloween everyone!
To those who have been celebrating, I hope you've had a great time
I ended up with no plans this halloween, how sad! But it's ok
The muppets are taking over WWE Raw tonight and
I had such a lovely weekend with my boyfriend to totally make up for it♥

We went to Leeds on Saturday to get his sister a birthday present ★
As per a trip to Leeds meant import sweets!
We decided to try something new this time too, so got Cherry Mountain Dew
and also Wonka SweeTarts, though it turns out we had them before and never knew
What they were! We love them so much so very glad to finally know their name
I was hoping there would be candy corn, I have never tried it or even seen it in person!

So... anyone wants to send a girl some candy corn I'm right here haha ♪

My boyfriend bought me some bath bombs in the new Hallmark store!
They're rather mini compared to other bombs but they're so yummy smelling
I can't wait to try some! The bottom right is gingerbread man scent... YUM

We wanted to go to this food place called Red Hot World Buffet
Which is a buffet of loads of world foods, in case the name didn't give it away lol
When we got there it was still the lunch menu and we thought it might be too limited
So to pass time we went to the Vue Cinema to watch Contagion
Vue Cinemas are nicer than the Cineworld I worked in lolol

Contagion is a good film, really interesting and totally realistic
Just a bit anti-climatic I suppose, I always felt like it was going to be treatable
I never felt the virus was certain to wipe out the planet or anything hah

The buffet was great, the place was full and we got the last table lol
There was so many foods, I found something new every time I went up
I always came back with a crazy mix too like... kebab, sushi and quesadilla! Hahaha
If there's one near you it's worth checking out and a great way to try new foods
I wish I had taken pictures, but oh well! lol

"Gyaru can't have tattoo's"
Well, Naime Amuro graces the cover of the magazine and flaunts her ink!
I know she is a singer, but she has always been a gyaru idol for her style
She is particularly known in the B-Gal scene from back in her braided hair days hehe

I wanted to include this outfit because of the style, I'm sure many would say it isn't gal
But we need to remember that fashions, no matter what genre they come from
Will and do change! This style of blogger rock is totally being rocked by Chinatsu lately
There are a lot more stonger styles accepted as gal so I'm glad Jelly included this too

This caught my eye, mostly because she looks like Kreayshawn's girlfriend (pic)
But also her lipstick! Many people say nudes and pinks are the only gyaru lip colours
Though here is a lovely dark toned lip colour, maybe down to personal taste
It could not be for you, but I salute gals who experiment with their lip colour!

This might look a little odd on face value lol
But this is a member of a VK band called SuG (I'm not too familiar with them!)
and I wanted to include this because many people lately in the gyaru community
Seem to be fixed to the fact that gyaru cannot like VK or J-rock etc
and that they can't mix the styles either
But this article/interview with a member of SuG in a popular gyaru magazine
goes to show that the readers must enjoy the band and their music enough
or else they would not waste their time and effort to print such a thing right?

In keep from yesterdays W♥C entry, it's about time I posted some gets!
Sometime I feel like I don't buy as much W♥C as I did last year
and others I think... yeah actually I do haha
I especially feel this way knowing I have other W♥C items on the way to me
But heck, even when it might seem like I've fallen out with the brand
They always come fighting back with stuff to love hehe

Novelty sticker I got for free of Kumako in a Football kit
It was made to celebrate Japan's win in the Womens World Cup ♥

YES! I loved this since the moment it was released
and I won't deny it was one of the reasons I decided to upgrade to the phone haha

The fit is a little, odd. I mean, they fit and all
But since they are high waisted, I think they look a little odd on my body type
I got these on eBay shockingly! I'd never seen W♥C on there other than if I was selling it hah

I think this top just defines my life... though I don't think I'm much of a stunner either haha
I got this in the sale and it's actually the guys version! So the neckline is different

Seems plain but theres a cute Kumatan emblem in there too
I love the colouring of this and I had my eye on it for a while before finally buying it

Unfortunatly it's a little small, I prefer my jumpers huge and baggy
and this is not like that *sob sob*
I may sell it on at some point I suppose, but for now I don't know and I'll keep hold of it lol

Well... I got this on Mbok and it's fake. Really sad about it
I'd never had this problem on Mbok before either
I was supicious when I first saw it I thought Kumatan seemed a little dark
Then I noticed details in the label to confirm it
I might make a post on how to recognise fake W♥C items soon to help others

The hero and mascot of the brand!

With the new store opening in Shibuya earlier this month came a whole new family
of Kuma folk! Chinatsu recently introduced them on her blog
and so I thought, as a W♥C addict, I would do the same! Translating where I can

Circle lense review ★

The lenses in this post were provided to me by Uniqso
Though required to review for their website all opinions stated are my own

Lense; Show Mix in Blue
This series is available in Plano only
Shelf life is 3 years with a usage length of up to 1 year
They are 17.8mm diameter

Cute packaging for the lenses
The case provided was a little, dirty, it had some dark almost silver markings
Some washed off and others didn't so I threw the case out and used a spare instead
If you are ever wary of a case sent to you from any seller be sure to send them a message

Art work on the bottles

Show Mix lenses have a special feature to them
as they are actually transition lenses, meaning the style and colour of the lense changes
depenging on the light of the area that you are in

Above you can see they are almost clear/grey with a dark pattern
This is what they should look like in indoor lighting
Whilst in bright lighting, they should be a solid colour with a glittering effect

Though I could get the lense to become different in the case
Once in my eyes no matter what they would stay glittery and wouldn't
look the same as they did when in the case
I tried them over and over, but there was never a result once they were in my eyes

They have a HUGE enlargement
17.8mm may be too big for anyone who is just trying lenses for the first time
Always remember eye drops with larger lenses or have somewhere to store them

Style; ★★★☆☆
I guess I'm feeling more 2.5 though, the transition colouring just would not work
However I can't fully slaughter the lenses or anything because they are glittery and I love that
It's a unique lense style I've not come across before and it's super pretty
So, do not buy these lenses if you want transitions
But, do buy these lenses if you want glittery contacts

Comfort; ★★★☆☆
Larger lenses come with an easier drying eye
It's only natural for this to happen, and I was applying eye drops more than usual

Enlarging effect; ★★★★★
HUGE enlargement! To anyone looking specifically for giant lenses

Bad times...

Having a little bit of a poopy time at the moment
I'd rather not talk about it too much, especially so publically
But I'm no longer on my College course... yes, already. It went sour that fast lol
There was admin problems, tutor problems and in the end the "support" staff were not supportive
I was technically given the choice to leave but it feels like the decision was made for me
So affective today I was removed from the course

It's annoying, it's sad. I do love animals and I was interested in the course
I was looking forward so much to working in the Animal Unit within the college building

But post-GCSE I have had the worst luck with Edcuation so, I'm not too shocked
I think it's just the worlds way of telling me to get the hell out of studying
It's time to live life normally and I suppose more adult
Getting permanent work this time of year is tough as most want Xmas extras
But even getting that would be fine by me!
I'd be happy to clear poop out of the Animal Rescue Shelter in all honesty haha

Though I know it's all bad and, shit, lol and I am bummed about it
I'm weirdly not scared or worried etc, I just want to get on with my life!

It's also worth mentioning that a goal from that course was to consider Dog Grooming
Even with the 2 year College course I would need £4,000 for my Grooming "degree"
Which without I wouldn't be licensed to groom animals with, so it was hardly a good stepping stone
Who knows, if I ever manage to save up for the lisence, I'd love to still do it
But, it's just not a realistic option for me in the near future

Though I am being slowed down now by a rather yucky cold
I felt it coming on after work last night and it hit me hard today lol
People say men can't deal with colds... they haven't met me! Haha

Well, that's a little "up to date" business done
I can't tell if it makes sense because the cold is taking over my life lol
Now back to wathing Dexter with Olbas Oil soaked tissues slapped on my face... yummy

Yesterday I met up with the lovely Bloomzy!
I'm so glad she came over to Leeds to see me, it was awesome to see her again
I used to see her almost everyday at Uni and then we were apart for a whole year
It's un-natural! It made me realise even more how much I miss her
and having girl friends in general, surrounded by guys here lol

I was so jealous haha I want my slim figure back damn!

The day was just walking around shops and chatting ★
Catching up on all the Uni gossip too haha, still got to know all the goings on!

Here's some random store shots...
CUPCAKES
They all look so damn yummy, I haven't been inside here yet though
I usually pass it after I've already been to the import sweet shop so feel bad
buying even more sweets rofl, though I didn't go crazy there for once!

Though this shop doesn't sell as many fun things as it used to
It's still very cute!

Inside the Cath Kidson store, I'd not been inside it before it's so pretty!
I wanted to buy everything!!

The amazing till inside Culture Vulture!
Such a cool and fun shop they sell kitsch galore
We were drawn in by the moustache tote bags in the window haha

After a while we decided to eat, when I think about we were in there a while
But it's a great atmosphere inside and it was cool too, especially since we were near a door

The place is called Little Tokyo
For whatever reason I always used to choose YoSushi over this place when I was younger
But now I've been there, I will never go back to YoSushi haha

Starter was deep fried sushi buttons!
I don't like normal cold sushi anymore at all haha, it is so much better fried
Though it's silly to make something healthy so bad for you... I could eat it forever

A bento box with vegan teriyaki chicken chunks hehe
These lunch sets are awesome, they vary a little in price but are around £13 each
I felt bad for not eating the salad haha, but I don't like ginger and it had a lot on it

Matcha ice cream for desert yay!
I think this is one reason to love this place alone hehe
The bowls are made of ice too, oh my I wanted to wear it as a hat to cool down

As I mentioned already it was a great day ♥
I miss doing this so often with her, I will need to meet her again asap!

We finished our day with a lounge in Starbucks like old times
We used to go to the one in Preston soooo often haha, I remember being in there when it closed

We also did take a picture together but I don't think it came out well haha
It was taken on the train home, lense-less and after a long day
So I won't be surprised haha I remember looking like I was 10ft tall in it lol
I also got on the wrong train home lol, it shouldn't take me an hour and it took more
THEN I got locked out by my brother when I finally got back lol wtf
So it sucked out my good mood a little but it could no way crush it all hehe

and of course, THERE WAS GETS!
I spent way more than I wanted to and should have
I'm a little worried for my bank, but I won't get into personal finances on here lol

It was onsale down from £45 and I had a 15% off voucher :D hurray!
It was almost half price I suppose with the discounts hehe
I'm also still forever tempted to buy their Mystery Pack, it's just too tempting!

The scrub is amazing, made of sugar too so you can nom it haha
The wand is a new product too, a re-usable bubble bath! I can't wait to use it

I'm glad the shop staff were as crazy as usual, it's always so fun in there!

I had been considering one for a while and heard this was one of the best

New hair...

Well, I can't say I'm happy with my hair thats for sure
I was going to get the dye in "Cyber Purple" but my mum somehow convinced me
to get this "Mystic Violet" instead... I don't know why I listened to her though
I used this dye before, infact it's the hair colour I had when I first started my blog
and I hated it because it went pretty much black, so I don't get why I did it again lol

My hair before, brown with red underneath
I was getting some roots going on, even if they weren't always easily seen
I could still see them a lot, they were at least over an inch too lol woops

and here is the outcome
Pretty much black, again. Not pleased
Going to be using some shampoo's for blonde hair to try lighten it
I guess I will use a colour strip eventually but I haven't the time for it right now
I also have pretty dead hair from bleaching so I'm best leaving it to fade naturally

So thats me, with my dark hair looking forever goff lol
But weird, this is the hair colour I had when I left Uni and tomorrow
I'm meeting Bloomzy for shopping, so it will be like a time warp with my hair haha
(Incase you didn't know we went to Uni together, we haven't seen each other in so long!!)

This series is available in Plano and prescription to -8.00
Shelf life is 3 years with a usage length of up to 1 year
They are 15.00mm diameter

Such a pretty package!
The Business card is super handy too as on the back it has space
For you to write the name and expiration date of your lenses
This is something I need to start doing more of for sure!

This lense design is very popular due to being modeled by Tsubasa
But other than that, I think it would be popular without her aid
I really like the rim of this lense as it's not just plain and smooth

The colour of the lenses really stands out!
Even on darker coloured eyes, great for those who want a noticeable change

One in and one out shows just how much they stand out!

At a more natural kind of distance you can see though my natural
colour is still visible, it's very much over powered by the lense colour

Style; ★★★★★
Love these very much!!
They can appear quite piercing and really catch attention!
They're a type of lense that really compliment heavier make up too

Comfort; ★★★★☆
The lenses are thin and I found them a little wobbly when applying
So it affected my eyes after the attempts at getting them to go in

I think they're really great, the pattern pops and stands out well
So the enlargement is very noticable

Just some random gets that I have collected lately!

Shark jumper by Unique/Topshop
The Unique line by Topshop have made some awesome shark print items
and finally I have one!! I was so happy when I managed to snag this ♥
When they have been on the webstore they have sold out fast
and are usually on eBay for hundreds of pounds
This is my favourite thing at the moment, so I know I am wearing it too much
But it's totally soft and comfortable too, so I can't help it!

Poodle jumper!
A size 18 and still not as baggy as I'd like it to be, who likes jumpers this fitted?
Weirdo Peacocks customers lol, this was the biggest size too so I have to deal with it lol
I love the little poodles, so cute ♥

New Barry M Effects polish
It's supposed to be a polosh equivilent to foils, I haven't had foils to compare
But I'm sure it's not quite the same, but regardless it's a great polish in itself!
Theres a gold version too which I totally want now

Nail tattoos from Born Pretty Store
I got these free using some points I collected, I haven't used them yet though
I wish they were bigger, I feel I will struggle to do all my nails from one piece
But I have some fun ideas for them

I got an album to store my polaroid images ♪
It came with 2 sheets of random deco stickers too
I can't stop laughing that one just says "Kim Chi" haha isn't that a food?

I used the front slot to display my Maid Cafe picture
It was in my wallet but was starting to get damaged, which really makes me sad
So I hope it will be safer in here now
