Lime Crime ★ Airborne Unicorn

"Medium violet-purple lipstick with a neon note.
Hue as mysterious as the animal itself.
This color combines lipstick and lipstain for prolonged wear."

I really think this is a lovely shade, I could easily see it working well
for people of all complexions too, it is surprisingly complimentary! ★

Was a little hard to get this to apply evenly
After a while I felt like I was moving the product around a little
Im sure it could be corrected with a lip brush
It was rather staining when removed, took a little bit of make up remover to fix
But when I wear lipstick, people are going to see the lipstick being worn
Not how it looks when it has been removed, so over all thats not too important to me

Over all though, I love the colour! It's just so yum
I can't be put off it at all haha, though I will deduct it a point for what I mentioned above
(It would be a 1.5 reduction if I could do half stars lol)

Score; ★★★★☆

Say hello to... Bh Cosmetics

I just wanted to take a moment to have an introduction and sneak peek post
for a new blog sponsor here called Bh Cosmetics

"Bh Cosmetics offers high quality makeup for less.
Our line includes a variety of 100% authentic eyeshadow palettes,
lip palettes, makeup brushes and much more!"

You may recognise the name? Many beauty bloggers and gurus
are very familiar with Bh Cosmetics, in particular their 120 eye shadow palettes

They were kind enough to send me a whole range of products to try
I will be posting their reviews seperatly in the near future
I really want to take my time and do these reviews justice!

I thought it would be fair to talk about there packaging, so here goes

Everything arrived swiftly and boxed as above
I did unfortunatly received a customs charge on my parcel
But I didn't mind having to pay for this at all

I really like their packaging, minus the plastic bag it was all recyclable
I think in this day and age, thats something I really appreciate in a company
(Though I always try to reuse all boxes, jiffy bags I receive hehe)

As for what they sent me?
It was worth over a whopping $100! *faints*
Now you see why I really want to do the reviews justice right?
Though Bh Cosmetics are forever having sales and discounts
So you can order this and more for a lot less actually!!

A couple of weeks ago I won a giveaway competition!
The giveaway was hosted by SoleStruck
You had to submit cheap tricks to save cash and the prizes were all by Cheap Monday

The prizes were all chosen at random too so I had no idea what I was going to get
and here they are...

T-shirt
In a Small so Im like *breathe in the gut* haha
But it doesn't fit too small thankfully
I'm sure unless someone knows the brand, people won't super recognise it hehe

Belt, I found it in their SS 2012 catalogue here
This is probably the only item I won't really use much
I'm not really a wearer of belts in general, so I'm not sure what to do with it hah

and I got a tota bag too!
I always used totes when Im out shopping so another to my collection

As far as I know these were all samples from the SS 2012 collection
So I think I got these like before they were even released? How awesome is that?!

Circle lense review ★

The lenses in this post were provided to me by Geo Coloured Lenses
Though required to review for their website all opinions stated are my own

Lense; Big Grang Grang Choco Brown (WHC-246)
This series is available in prescription 0.00 to -6.00
Shelf life is 3 years with a usage length of up to 1 year
They are 15mm diameter

Grang Grang is the latest GEO lense!
It feels really exciting to try an entriely new design hehe
Not knowing Korean, I'm not sure where the name comes from or what it means
If anyone can shed any light onto that, that would be lovely

So, did you notice what was a little odd?
It's rather small, I had to double glance when I first noticed it
All I can image is these lenses have a "B" because they are the Big grang grang
As there is also a smaller series that are 14.2mm (you can see those here)
So the Big ones must have a "B" printed on them for identification
Which will be handy if you ever owned both the sizes, you can see which is which
without having to get out your ruler and try see which one is the biggest

Both in, you can see the lovely choco colouring blends really well with brown eyes
and makes for a large but natural lense
I belive this is why they have been so successful in Korea

Rule Breaking ★ Happie Nuts

These were all found in Happie Nuts, October 2011 and the scans are from Laurita
Sorry if you're a bit over loaded with Rule Breaking posts lately
I'm catching up on all the magazines I've missed out

I know I seem to be focusing on shoes a lot lately
But the magazines themselves seem set on pushing the boundaries of "gyaru shoes"
Creepers, loafers and platform sneakers all featured here
It's not just about heels anymore ♪

Had to feature these boots
They're Glad News' take on gothic transmuter boots!

Featured this gal purely to show how you can be casual
Gals feel pressured into being super dressed and dolled up all the time

Lime Crime ★ Mint to be

Originally part of a collection called "Pop Romance"
Which was a small group of pastel lipsticks also including Coquette and New Yolk City

A little hard to pull off than most colours, Mint to be isn't an average lipstick

I managed to get an even application with little effort
Though I did find it applied slighty patchy, it was easy to fix though
A little hard to remove, was keen to stay in my lines and left my lips a little dry
But it wasn't all so bad it would ever put me off wearing it again

Score; ★★★★☆
One point knocked off for the aftermath of zombie mouth haha

Buy your own, or shop the whole Lime Crime range

Mint to be is currently discontinued (along with Styletto and New Yolk City)
But if you use the "reccomend" button and it reaches 1,000 votes it will be re-made
Mint to be currently has 1,000 votes and should be coming back soon

Kyary Pamyu Pamyu mask ♪

Surely you all know Kyary by now?
Blogger, turned model, turned musician
Kyary is taking Japan by storm lately with her unique sense of style

and using a spare medical mask and the above image as inspiration
I decided to make myself look more like Kyary (sort of...)

The tools I used;
Spare Cocolulu mask
Mini Sharpies

and the result!
In hindsight, I wish I'd made the teeth bigger
But, this wasn't for anything serious, I was just bored one night haha
Also, this thing REEKED of Sharpie fumes for quite some time after
So, from experience, I have to say; Don't wear it straight away!

Now you can be an evil Kyary monster without ruining your actual face

A really pretty lense! The pattern is like a mild version of the Princess Mimi

Important!!

It's not often I post at 4am from my phone, but I'm rather angry right now

When I wrote my recent post about how to spot fake WC goods
This was is no way a post directed to or about Anz Falcon or her affiliation with Minky Shop

I've just had a little chat with her an found out she's had a little bit of harassment about this since I wrote the post and I just want to say that is so not cool and you don't have any right to be so rude to her!

I really like Anz, not just for her great style or for being a fellow WC lover
but because she's a sweet person and a fantastic mother
I'm really sorry to have caused her any grief and I hope anyone who reads my blog and has posted any form of message to her will have the guts and conscience to apologise to her

She is now aware the goods are potentially counterfeit but who she chooses to work with is no business to anyone but her and you have no right to stick your nose in!
I in no way think any less of her for working with Minky Shop or anyone who chooses to shop with them, it's your choice at the end of the day and if you can't get hold of real WC for whatever reason then that's up to you if you wash to shop elsewhere
The point of my post was to create awareness and nothing more

I'm really sorry for this ramble, but as I said I was really angry when I heard about this and I wanted to address the matter

Please be respectful people, it's easy to do, it's free and it makes you feel good

Rule Breaking; Jelly

These were all found in Jelly, October 2011 and the scans are from Laurita
Also, if I may ask. Do you prefer rule breaking broken down into the magazines like this?
It seems an easier and more organized way of posting to me
But if you prefer certain themes instead of issues, then let me know!

This outfit stood out to me
It has some rather grundgy elements to it and it's also not something
I think of when I think of the magazine Jelly
Even if it's not a very "outrageous" rule break, I still felt it was worth a mention

Something I think about when looking for Rule Breaking is
"If someone posted in Everyday Gyaru with this outfit, would they get told is isnt gyaru?"
and thats exactly what I though about the above three outfits
Yet there they all are in a popular gyaru magazine as a way to wear trend items

Something that caught my eye a few times in this issue of Jelly is a certain shoe
The style varies slightly sometimes, its an almost Creeper, Dr. Marten style shoe
Something quite manly looking and not a shoe people would see and think "gyaru"

Lol I love this

Mostly used in "manly" styles, I'm not sure how well the shoe has done in sales etc
It was very interesting to see this shoe in a fashion most people would say
you are expected to wear high heels, but obviously this isnt the case!

Di Depux Gets!

I bought this quite a while ago now, another GETS I failed to blog about heh
It's a custom flower name necklace by the fabulous Di Depux ♥
The cost of this necklace is €25,00

The necklace is so cute! I can't thank her enough, super sweet
The plastic is thick enough to be sturdy but not too thick either
I like how the chain is attached too to help stop the necklace slanting whilst its worn

You can customise pretty much everything about these necklaces
The colours of the plastics, rhinestone colours, flower colours even the chain!
My design was rather simple really but I still love it! ♥

Lime Crime ★ Countessa Fluorescent

Countessa Fluorescent - $15.99

"Blue-based neon pink. Full coverage on all complexions, dark to light.
This shade combines lipstick and lipstain for prolonged wear."

I bought this lipstick in their Cyber Monday sale last year ♪
The only other pink lipstick I have and use is the Viva Glam Gaga
and since it's a very light shade I wanted to try something a little brighter!

The lipstick went on very well ♪
It's creamy which is a known trait of Lime Crime lipsticks!
It's such a soft lipstick, you don't need to apply alot of pressure
or use many layers to create such vibrancy, helped of course by strong pigment!
It doesn't wear too quickly unless you're deliberately trying to remove it of course
I could take it off easily with tissues and a small dab of make up remover

Over all, just a lovely pink! ♥
Of all Lime Crimes colours, a bright pink isn't exactly the most "daring"
but it's still a very nice bright and eye catching shade thats for sure!

A guide to fake W♥C products

A guide on how to spot fake W♥C clothing

This is a rather long post and I tried my best to go into as much detail as I could
I have been a W♥C fan for a very long time and I used my experience to make this
I'm not writing this to snark on counterfeit stores mentioned
I am writing this so people can make an informed decision when purchasing goods
Though of course I always recommend you purchase through the offical W♥C store

The only flaw with this guide is that it can be hard to spot the features online
especially as stores do their best to hide and mask their use of fake labels
and you may not be able to identify a fake item until it is there in front of you
If this happens you are within your statutory rights to return the product

If you read this and realise you have bought fake
W♥C products
Then I am sorry! If it's still a recent purchase you may want to try return the item
and if it's an older purchase then you know not to trust the store you bought it from again

Anyone reading this wanting to claim against a store for a fake
W♥C item they were sold
Has permission to link to this blog entry to back up their claims
As it contains proof from my own photographs to webstore links
